Our Team at LD Watkins
We are primarily a vacation/second home builder with other services encompassing restoration, remodeling and commercial construction. LD Watkins for over 18+ years has a reputation in the unique niche of log homes and timber frame homes. We have built homes partnering with the nation’s leaders in log suppliers including Alpine, Wilderness, Tomahawk, Pioneer, Amerlink, Gastineau and Rocky Mountain Log Homes. On the Post and Beam niche we specialize only in Timberpeg Post and Beam homes.
More recently the company has taken on a reputation as a firm with outstanding project management and design capabilities. This has led to more commercial work with challenging deadlines and insurance work with crises management taking precedence for contractor selection. We attribute this to the owner’s leadership style and prior development as a project manager from building high rises, airports, schools and hospitals.
No project too small
In small projects we promote that our minimum job size is $1.00 and there is no job too small. We focus our efforts on product delivery and the customer experience on projects including repairs, kitchen remodels, basement finishes, additions, decks and porches.
